"Something should’ve changed in the planning room that day when our producers and artists decided to make a Sailor Moon anime only about an accurate representation of the manga series. They should have also fixed the show’s misogynistic and racist rhetoric. The Sailor Moon produced now doesn’t stand a chance against us girls who want more for ourselves than to be a ‘pretty princess’"Do you agree?

Give Usagi some agency and confidence besides her magical powers, for once The manga does this. Usagi begins to gain confidence in herself and who she is through her position as a leader and the things she goes through. She still is self-conscious and unsure, but what 14/15 year old girl is sure of herself? When I was 15 I wasn’t, and I can guarantee you that a majority of girls that age are unsure of themselves and are very unconfident with themselves. Usagi is a mix. She is unsure of herself quite a bit, but it’s mainly because her inner feelings are conflicted. When she needs to be, during battles, she usually becomes very sure and confident of herself. Seeing as this is in the manga, I’d assume that the anime would reflect this.
And stop making her seem like a girlchild Once more, the manga does this. During the Black Moon arc, Usagi grows up and matures quite a bit. She’s still a bit of a ditz, but that’s her personality. For the most part she is much more mature than the 90’s anime showed her. Once more, seeing as this is in the manga we can assume that the anime will show this.
And remove the noticeable unhealthy relationship to food and fear of gaining weight This 90’s anime was in.. The 90’s. The time of supermodels and dieting and worrying about weight. I honestly would have been more surprised had Usagi and her friends not be afraid of eating/weight. Am I saying it’s a good thing? No. You just need to remember the time this is set in. Secondly, the manga really doesn’t have any of this. And seeing as the new anime is close to the manga… Your fears should be put to rest.
And the need to find a beau This is strictly an anime thing, like most of the things you are referencing. At this point I’m wondering if you’ve read the manga.
Give our soldiers and all the individuals in SM different body types and different ethnicities (not just the villians, damnint!) For one thing, they’re all Japanese. Sure, they all look white but most every anime portrays their characters as white. Secondly, Setsuna??? Thirdly, all anime shows stick-thin figures. Show me an anime who’s main character isn’t stick-thin. It’s anime, guys. If you’re really comparing yourself to anime characters, who are fictional, not real people, then we need to have a talk.
Bring back our LGBT characters Were they ever taken away? Maybe in the English dub, but you can’t say that the 90’s anime took away Haruka/Michiru’s relationship because America did.
And our trans characters Like I said before, were they ever taken away? These are main character we’re talking about. It’s not like they’re going to cut out Neptune and Uranus when they play pivotal moments in the Infinity Arc, (and also bring up the central inner conflict).
Stop the male superiority and the unrealistic gushing over Tuxedo Mask This person has never read the manga, have they?
And the constant need for a man to save her Someone please give this person copies of the manga.
And let’s not make Usagi’s ultimate dream to get married and have kids Yeah, really. Please. Read the manga.
And give Tuxedo Mask a personality instead of just making him a beefcake. Manga. Please. Read it before you make more articles like this

The reason I am called the Warrior of Ruin is because I am given enough power to destroy a planet. However, when I use that power, I myself will also…
